Those struggling to cover costs of college realize that every source of dollars should be explored, including local scholarships, scholarships from the university, grants, saving via 529 accounts or personal accounts or part-time work.
When those avenues aren't enough, consideration of student loans becomes the last available resource for many students and families. Student Loans have been active since 2000, and have soared in usage since the skyrocketing cost period of 2012-2020.
Sadly, many of these tries at achieving the dream of a college degree have turned out badly, and still-due loan repayment is a widespread nightmare.
Please share your experience with Student Debt and your advice to those planning to seek this avenue, or trying to plan their escape
